UPO6000LP-MANCH Serial Bus Trigger and Analysis Option (Manchester)
Overview
The UPO6000LP-MANCH adds Manchester-coded bus triggering and decoding to your UPO6000LP Series oscilloscope. Both IEEE and G.E. Thomas conventions are supported, at standard bitrates from 1.2 kbps to 10 Mbps or a custom rate, and the frame layout is fully configurable — start bits, sync field, header, word count and size, end field and inter-frame gap.
Why it matters: Manchester coding shows up in proprietary and legacy links where there is no off-the-shelf analyzer — RFID and wireless front ends, industrial sensor links, metering, and custom telemetry. Because the frame definition is yours to set, the option can decode a protocol that no fixed-format decoder supports.
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the oscilloscope's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.

This option is compatible with all UPO6000LP Series oscilloscopes: UPO6034LP (350 MHz, 4 ch), UPO6038LP (350 MHz, 8 ch), UPO6054LP (500 MHz, 4 ch), UPO6058LP (500 MHz, 8 ch), UPO6104LP (1 GHz, 4 ch) and UPO6108LP (1 GHz, 8 ch).

Should I buy this individually or get a bundle?
If Manchester is the only optional protocol you need, this license covers exactly that. UPO6000LP-BND unlocks it together with every other optional serial bus on the UPO6000LP.
How is this option activated?
Buy the option key from your UNI-T distributor, then enter the key and the oscilloscope's serial number on the License Activation page of the UNI-T website to generate a license file. Copy the file to the root of a USB drive and activate it under Utility > Options. The Options screen then lists the option as Activated, with a duration of Permanent.
Can I try it first, and is the license permanent?
Yes to both. Every UPO6000LP option includes a 540-hour trial on the instrument, so you can prove it on your own hardware before you buy. Once activated, the license is permanent for the life of the oscilloscope — no subscriptions, no renewals and no expiration.
