UPO6000LP-ARINC429 Aerospace Serial Bus Trigger and Analysis Option (ARINC 429)
Overview
The UPO6000LP-ARINC429 adds ARINC 429 triggering and decoding to your UPO6000LP Series oscilloscope. It decodes high-speed (100 kbps), low-speed (12.5 kbps) or custom-rate buses and breaks each 32-bit word into label, SDI, data and SSM.
Why it matters: ARINC 429 is the one-way broadcast bus that carries air data, navigation and engine parameters between avionics boxes. A bad parity bit, a wrong SSM or a word arriving too soon after the last one can leave a receiving unit showing stale or invalid data. The option triggers on each of those conditions and shows the bipolar waveform alongside the decode.
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the oscilloscope's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.

This option is compatible with all UPO6000LP Series oscilloscopes: UPO6034LP (350 MHz, 4 ch), UPO6038LP (350 MHz, 8 ch), UPO6054LP (500 MHz, 4 ch), UPO6058LP (500 MHz, 8 ch), UPO6104LP (1 GHz, 4 ch) and UPO6108LP (1 GHz, 8 ch).

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy this individually or get a bundle?
If ARINC 429 is the only optional protocol you need, this license covers exactly that. For platforms that also use MIL-STD-1553, UPO6000LP-BND includes both and every other optional serial bus.
How is this option activated?
Buy the option key from your UNI-T distributor, then enter the key and the oscilloscope's serial number on the License Activation page of the UNI-T website to generate a license file. Copy the file to the root of a USB drive and activate it under Utility > Options. The Options screen then lists the option as Activated, with a duration of Permanent.
Can I try it first, and is the license permanent?
Yes to both. Every UPO6000LP option includes a 540-hour trial on the instrument, so you can prove it on your own hardware before you buy. Once activated, the license is permanent for the life of the oscilloscope — no subscriptions, no renewals and no expiration.
