MSO8000HD-CTS1000 1000BASE-T Ethernet Compliance Test Option
Overview
The MSO8000HD-CTS1000 runs automated 1000BASE-T Ethernet physical-layer compliance tests on an MSO8000HD Series oscilloscope.
Each test sets up the oscilloscope automatically, shows how to connect it to the device under test, and records the result against the limit.
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the oscilloscope's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.

How is this option activated?
Buy the option from your UNI-T distributor with the oscilloscope's serial number. You receive a license certificate; register it on the License Activation page of the UNI-T website with the instrument serial number to get the license file. Copy the file to the root of a USB drive, connect it to the oscilloscope and install it from the Option Install menu.
Is the license permanent, or does it require renewal?
The license is permanent β a one-time purchase that stays active for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no annual renewals, and no expiration.
