UTS3000A-I/Q I/Q Modulation Analysis Option
Overview
The UTS3000A-I/Q adds I/Q signal analysis β capture and process I/Q data for modulated signal analysis in time and frequency domains. The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the spectrum analyzer's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.
Key Features
- I/Q Capture β Raw I/Q data at configurable sample rates.
- Dual-Domain Display β Time and frequency domain views simultaneously.
- Data Export β Export I/Q data for MATLAB, Python, or external tools.
- Lifetime License Activation β activate once, owned for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no renewals, no maintenance fees.
When You Need This Option
The option fits the following workflows:
- Custom Signal Analysis β Capture I/Q from proprietary wireless signals for external demodulation.
- RF Environment Recording β Record I/Q samples for later playback and analysis.
Compatibility
This option is compatible with all UTS3000A Series spectrum analyzers: UTS3015A (1.5 GHz), UTS3026A (2.6 GHz), UTS3036A (3.6 GHz), UTS3046A (4.5 GHz). The same capability is offered on other UNI-T spectrum analyzer families: UTS7000A.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this option activated?
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the spectrum analyzer's serial number. After purchase, the license is registered on the UNI-T website to generate the license file, which is then loaded onto the spectrum analyzer from a USB drive through the option-install menu. Refer to the spectrum analyzer's user manual for the step-by-step procedure.
Is the license permanent, or does it require renewal?
The license is permanent β a one-time purchase that stays active for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no annual renewals, and no expiration.
