Overview

The UT513C is the top of the UT513 line: CAT IV 600 V, test voltages from 250 V to 5 kV, and insulation resistance up to 5 TΩ — the widest range in the family, for high-resistance modern insulation on transformers, large machines, and long cable systems. It adds capacitance measurement from 0.01 µF to 15 µF and a Bluetooth app alongside USB.

It runs the full diagnostic set — Polarization Index, Dielectric Absorption Ratio, a 0 s–99 m 59 s timer, and 10%-of-range stepped-voltage profiling — with live leakage display, automatic discharge, and a high-voltage alarm. Results store 999 sets and move to phone or PC. It's backed by UNI-T's nearly 40 years of test-meter manufacturing.

PI, DAR & Stepped-Voltage Profiling

The full timed-diagnostic set runs here: PI and DAR separate sound insulation from moisture and contamination, while 10% stepped-voltage profiling stresses the dielectric in stages to expose marginal insulation a fixed reading would pass.

Capacitance Measurement
