The UT512E is the 2.5 kV entry to the UT513 family, rated CAT IV 600 V. It tests insulation resistance up to 2.5 TΩ at test voltages to 2500 V — well matched to low- and medium-voltage motors, cables, and switchgear where a full 5 kV output isn't required but a wide, high-resistance range still is.

It includes Polarization Index testing, 10% stepped-voltage profiling, a comparison function, and capacitance measurement, with automatic discharge after each test.
