Solutions for Power Analysis
Solutions for Power Analysis
Whether you're optimizing switch-mode power supply efficiency, testing appliance standby power consumption, or performing harmonic analysis for compliance, precision power measurement is the foundation. UNI-T's power meters, DC loads, and supporting instruments give engineers the tools to characterize, validate, and optimize power conversion across the entire signal chain.
Power Meters β The Core of Power Analysis
The UTE310 is UNI-T's flagship single-phase power meter: 300kHz bandwidth, 0.1% basic accuracy, real-time waveform display, harmonic analysis to the 50th order, and integration measurement for energy consumption testing. It handles voltage up to 600V and current up to 20A directly β or extend the range with external CTs.
For high-voltage applications (up to 1000V), the UTE310H adds extended voltage range for solar inverter and industrial drive testing. Need GPIB for automated test integration? The UTE310G and UTE310HG variants include it.
For three-phase power systems, the UTE323 provides simultaneous 3-channel measurement with high-precision 0.1% accuracy β essential for motor drives, 3-phase inverters, and industrial power distribution analysis.
For basic power measurement at an entry-level price, the UTE9802+ (600V/20A, AC/DC/AC+DC) and UTE9811+ (with harmonic analysis) cover common production test and QA applications.
DC Electronic Loads β Efficiency Under Load
Characterizing power supply efficiency requires programmable loading. The UTL1040S (400W, 150V/30A) supports CC, CV, CP, and CR modes with high-speed transient testing up to 50kHz β essential for evaluating load regulation and transient response. The UTL1020S (200W) provides the same features at a lower power level for smaller supplies and chargers.
Oscilloscopes β Visualizing Power Waveforms
Power supply design requires seeing switching waveforms, ripple, and transient response in detail. The MSO5034HD (350MHz, 12-bit) provides the vertical resolution to separate small-signal ripple from the DC output. For field work, the UT219P AC digital power clamp meter gives quick power measurements without disconnecting circuits.
