The UNI-T UDP6900 series is a single-output programmable DC switching power supply designed to provide flexible voltage and current outputs within its rated power. This versatility allows it to handle both high-voltage/low-current and high-current/low-voltage tests with a single unit, significantly reducing costs and saving space. For example, the UDP6942B model (60V/15A/360W) can be configured for various combinations, such as 60V/6A/360W, 40V/9A/360W, or 24V/15A/360W, making it adaptable to a wide range of testing needs.
Equipped with RS232, RS485, USB, and analog interfaces, the UNI-T UDP6900 series supports SCPI protocol for remote control and PLC integration, enabling the creation of intelligent test platforms. It is ideal for applications in DC-DC power module testing, battery charging, sensor evaluation, and other related fields, offering a powerful and flexible solution for engineers.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series features multiple multifunction keys paired with a 4.3-inch true color LCD display, providing intuitive prompts for easy operation. Its straightforward interface allows for quick setup and seamless use, ensuring the instrument is simple to operate and ready to use right away.
To avoid voltage drops caused by long wires connecting to the load, remote testing allows measurements to be made directly on the terminals of the object to be measured to improve measurement accuracy. S+ and S- are the remote measurement terminals, and + and - are the output positive and negative terminals. When using the remote measurement function, it is necessary to connect a pair of driver wires from the rear panel + and - terminals to the device to be tested, and lead S+, S- to connect to the object to be tested. Please refer to the user manual for details.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series includes built-in over-voltage (OVP) and over-current (OCP) protection. Users can set the protection thresholds via the front panel keys. When the set limit is exceeded, the output is automatically shut off, and an alert is displayed on the LCD screen to ensure safety.
The series offers both list and delay functions, allowing users to define and execute up to 512 groups of output parameters (voltage, current, and time) or switch sequences. Users can manually change parameter groups or use templates for batch settings. These functions support both internal Flash storage and external USB storage, with files saved in (.lst.csv) and (.dly.csv) formats for easy editing on a computer.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series offers three slope modes for enhanced control: Normal, Voltage Slope (VSR), and Current Slope (ISR). In Normal mode, the voltage and current values adjust directly to the set values without the ability to configure slope parameters. In VSR mode, the voltage rises and falls according to set slope parameters, while in ISR mode, the current adjusts step by step. This allows for gradual transitions in voltage or current to meet specific testing requirements.
This series supports flexible combinations of voltage and current under fixed power. It can handle both high-voltage/low-current and high-current/low-voltage tests, with automatic range switching between voltage and current outputs. This is controlled by limiting the overall power output, making it ideal for a variety of testing needs.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series features a built-in 4 1/2-digit voltmeter, capable of measuring DC voltages from 0.001V to 65.000V (up to 160.0V DC for models UDP6933B/53B) through the rear terminal inputs. The measured values are displayed directly on the main screen for easy monitoring.
All models in the UNI-T UDP6900 series come with an external analog control function. Located on the rear panel, the external analog interface allows you to adjust the output voltage, current, and switching output by inputting an external voltage (0–10V). You can also monitor the output via the Vm and Im terminals, making it easy to synchronize multiple power supplies for simultaneous output adjustments.
The main menu includes functions such as monitoring, system settings, user groups, output settings, and language options. The monitor function displays real-time voltage, current, power, and DVM readings, with alarms for each channel if conditions deviate from set parameters. System settings allow configuration of backlight, sound, communication protocols, and more.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series comes equipped with RS232, USB, and RS485 communication interfaces, along with free software for the series. This makes remote control and data logging via a PC straightforward and efficient. Users can adjust voltage, current, and save data records remotely.
With the built-in RS485 interface, multiple units can be connected for simultaneous testing and remote control. This feature is ideal for labs requiring synchronized multi-machine operation.
The series supports web-based remote control, allowing users to adjust parameters, set lists, and configure system settings from any web-enabled device, providing flexibility and ease of access.
The UNI-T UDP6900 series offers a powerful, flexible, and feature-rich solution for electrical engineers who demand precision and efficiency in their testing environments. With its versatile voltage and current configurations, advanced protection features, remote control capabilities, and user-friendly interface, the UNI-T UDP6900 series is designed to meet the challenges of modern testing and development. Whether you're working on power module testing, battery charging, or sensor validation, this series provides the reliability, accuracy, and control you need to streamline your workflow and achieve exceptional results.
