MSO6000HDP-TIMING Timing Analysis Option (including I2C, SPI, CAN, I2S, Reset, Switch, UART, LIN)
Overview
The MSO6000HDP-TIMING checks bus and power-sequence timing on an MSO6000HDP Series oscilloscope against limits, with a pass/fail result for each parameter and an exportable report.
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the oscilloscope's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.
Key Features
- Buses — I²C, SPI, CAN, I²S, UART and LIN timing from decoded traffic.
- Sequences — reset and switch timing.
- Parameters — pulse width, amplitude, edges, rise time, setup time and hold time.
- Reports — results with pass/fail status export as a test report.
When You Need This Option
- Phones, wearables, appliances and automotive electronics where bus timing must meet a specification.
- Design validation before a board goes to compliance testing.
Compatibility
For the MSO6000HDP Series: MSO6204HDP and MSO6104HDP. Keep the oscilloscope on the latest UNI-T firmware.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this option activated?
Buy the option from your UNI-T distributor with the oscilloscope's serial number. You receive a license certificate; register it on the License Activation page of the UNI-T website with the instrument serial number to get the license file. Copy the file to the root of a USB drive, connect it to the oscilloscope and install it from the Option Install menu. Utility > Options then shows the option as Activated, with a trial duration of Permanent.
Can I try it first, and is the license permanent?
Yes to both. Every MSO6000HDP option includes a 540-hour trial on the instrument. Once activated, the license is permanent for the life of the oscilloscope.
