MSO6000HDP-AUDIO Audio Serial Bus Trigger and Analysis Option (I2S, LJ, RJ, TDM)

Overview

The MSO6000HDP-AUDIO adds audio serial bus trigger and decode to an MSO6000HDP Series oscilloscope: I²S (standard), left-justified, right-justified and TDM.

The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the oscilloscope's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.

Key Features

  • Trigger conditions — word, left channel, right channel or any.
  • Formats — standard I²S, left-justified, right-justified and TDM.
  • Sources — analog channels C1–C4 or digital channels D0–D15 (digital channels need the optional UT-M15 logic probe).
  • Decode workflow — Up to four decodes run at once, while running, stopped or recording, with an event list, search and CSV, HTML or PDF export of decoded events.

When You Need This Option

  • Codec, DSP and amplifier development.
  • Checking audio data against clock and word-select timing.

Compatibility

For the MSO6000HDP Series: MSO6204HDP and MSO6104HDP. Keep the oscilloscope on the latest UNI-T firmware.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this option activated?

Buy the option from your UNI-T distributor with the oscilloscope's serial number. You receive a license certificate; register it on the License Activation page of the UNI-T website with the instrument serial number to get the license file. Copy the file to the root of a USB drive, connect it to the oscilloscope and install it from the Option Install menu. Utility > Options then shows the option as Activated, with a trial duration of Permanent.

Can I try it first, and is the license permanent?

Yes to both. Every MSO6000HDP option includes a 540-hour trial on the instrument. Once activated, the license is permanent for the life of the oscilloscope.
