Decision 2: Standard or Narrowband?

Standard (Upgradeable)

Ships with 40 MHz RTSA bandwidth. Upgradeable to 85, 160, or 255 MHz via options B85/B160/B255.

Choose if you work with wideband signals (Wi-Fi 80/160 MHz, 5G NR >20 MHz, wideband radar, multi-carrier satellite) or want future upgrade flexibility.

Narrowband (-NB)

Fixed at 20 MHz RTSA bandwidth. Cannot be upgraded.

Choose if you primarily work with narrowband signals (single LTE ≤20 MHz, IoT channels, CW, component test, EMC pre-compliance) and want a lower initial investment.

Can software options be added later?

What OS does the UTS7000A run?

Ubuntu Linux standard; Windows 10 optional. Both support SCPI remote control over LAN and USB.
