UNI-T USG5000M-PM Pulse Modulation Option

Overview

The USG5000M-PM pulse modulation option adds advanced pulse modulation capabilities to the USG5000M series microwave signal generators. This high-performance option enables precise generation of pulsed RF signals across the extended frequency ranges of the USG5000M series, making it ideal for sophisticated radar system development, satellite communications testing, and millimeter-wave applications.

Key Features

  • Superior On-Off Ratio: Up to 80 dB (≤ 6.5 GHz) and 70 dB (≤ 22 GHz) for clean pulse definition
  • Fast Transition Times: Rising/falling times < 20 ns for accurate edge definition
  • Multiple Operating Modes: Free-run, square, external triggered, adjustable doublet, gated, and custom pulse train modes
  • Programmable Pulse Sequences: Create complex pulse patterns with user-defined timing parameters
  • Wide Frequency Coverage: Full pulse modulation across the entire frequency range of the generator
  • Flexible Triggering: Internal, external, or bus-triggered operation
